The winners get to be with the Suppliers, and is never seen again? Hmm… People who are suspicious might think something bad happened to them.
While Bram obviously recognises the flying saucers as bad News, I think the best place to hide right now would be in plain sight. Just sit tight and smile and look like the rest of the audience.
Standing up and running calls attention, you know.
These post-WW-III-cultures had a lot of time to develop a social “new normal”. It’s some kind of a cult, maybe we can call it even religious.
Stealth would indeed be a good idea for our two spectators. However, the trouble is, that these circumstances are emotionally challenging for Bram. While he is usually quite calm, seeing his worst nightmare coming true leads him to a slightly emotional decision: all he wants for the present is to get away from this situation.
